The conference was celebrated as the 30th anniversary meeting of the Polish biomechanics. The organisers of the conference were the Polish Society of Biomechanics and the Chair of Materials and Biomedical Engineering of the BiaĆystok University of Technology. A Scientific Workshop was organised during the first day of the conference.
